“Timeless Masterpiece”

This kitchen remodel was developed by the clients’ desire to convert their duplex home to a single family home. They had already tackled the demolition on their first floor when they invited us to view the space for the first time, but we had to conduct major structural work to make the project happen. The new kitchen space was to replace the original kitchen, sitting room and bathroom in the first floor unit. Staying true to their 1920’s Tudor home with traditional custom details was a must. Each elevation offers something unique with attention to detail and custom cabinetry. The butler’s pantry features pantry space as well as an ice maker, microwave, secondary sink, under counter wine refrigerator and a decorative plate rack. The panel ready refrigerator and freezer frame the entrance to the pantry with detailed panels. The custom metal hood is flanked by windows featuring custom stained glass panels. The sink elevation features a decorative curved wood panel surrounded by beautiful hand selected sheets of marble. Decorative walnut beams and the large island expands to both ends of the kitchen with a work zone on the range end of the island and seating on the opposite end. Imperial Danby marble countertops and backsplash with a ledge were installed on the perimeter cabinets and pantry. The island features a walnut countertop with an ogee edge and a waterfall on the seating end of the island. The banquette area offers a cozy place for casual dining and is surrounded by a mural wallpaper with a watercolor landscape. The plumbing fixtures, cabinet hardware and light fixtures were all carefully selected to create this beautiful and timeless space.
