“Mid Century Inspired”

This half bath remodel was part of a basement renovation with a mid century feel. The remodel required us to work with the existing concrete floor that was tinted Sedona Red, a color often used in Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture. The stained wood furniture style vanity was selected for its tall legs to create a more open feel and yet offer some storage. Stained wood elements surround the space as a frame for the vanity mirror and backsplash as well as the painting on the opposite wall. The sconces were selected to mimic the look of the earrings in the painting reflected in the mirror. Soapstone was selected for the countertop and backsplash material as an additional natural element to further enhance mid century design.
