BATHROOM
“Mid Century Inspired”
ABOUT THIS BATHROOM PROJECT
This bathroom remodel was part of a basement renovation with a mid century feel. The remodel required us to work with the existing concrete floor that was tinted in Sedona Red, a color often used in Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture. The design of the full bathroom followed the mid century inspiration with the stained wood furniture style vanity and clean lines. The glass mosaic tile features warm toned glass tile replicating rain to further enhance natural elements and to create a warm space in what would normally be a cold and dark basement. The shower tile features larger format rectangular tile for easier cleaning. A wall mounted faucet was selected to keep the vanity countertop clutter free and easier to clean as well. Gold toned plumbing fixtures provide additional warmth to the space.
