ADDITION

“Transformed Tudor”

ABOUT THIS ADDITION PROJECT

This beautiful addition was truly a dedication to craftsmanship! The exterior consisted of a series of complex roof lines and master masonry work creating the perfect mix of brick colors and mortar color to the existing 1920’s brick and mortar. The iron railing at the back door is a replica of the existing railing at the front of the home. The main purpose of this addition was to gain space to allow for a new and larger kitchen that would be open to the family room. The clients also desired rebuilding the staircase and eliminating the existing steep staircase. We relocated the staircase with landings to allow for a safer staircase design. Extensive woodwork was created to feature wood paneling with moulding along the staircase and in the music area below the staircase. The new staircase also leads to the new basement below the addition. The new basement recreation area is the perfect hang out space for the teenagers in the home. The master suite consists of a master bedroom with a series of closets and a master bathroom featuring a freestanding tub, double vanity, a large shower and a toilet area. Our clients love their new spaces and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
