“LAKE LIFE”

Our clients loved their lake home, but wanted to make the home their full time residence. This required increasing the square footage on the first floor to accommodate their everyday needs as well as the 2nd floor to accommodate guests. The first floor received an additional 80 sq. ft. to expand the kitchen, create a first floor laundry room and expand a guest bedroom. The second floor received an additional 1,142 sq. ft. to create three additional bedrooms, a bunk room for grandchildren, additional bathrooms and a secondary TV room. The entire house received a facelift to update the exterior and to create character. A light shaft was added for an exterior focal point as well as a way to allow natural light to filter through to the 2nd floor hallway. The flooring was updated throughout the house, including raising the floors to achieve flush flooring for the majority of the first floor. This was a time intensive project, but the entire team didn’t mind given the lake views. Our clients have been enjoying their remodeled lake home and creating memories at the lake with their family!
