“Black and White Solution”

The clients desired a more contemporary bathroom with a shower and did not like the existing traditional hexagon marble floor tiles. The tight budget did not allow for a full bathroom remodel or removal of the marble floor tile. The whirlpool tub was removed to allow for a large shower. Large format matte black hexagon tiles were installed to create a visual impact and coordinate with the existing marble tile. The curb and partial wall cap were covered with honed absolute black granite to visually continue the use of black. Large format white ceramic tile was installed on the remaining walls and ceiling to reduce grout lines and further emphasize the contemporary design. A shampoo niche was added to provided additional storage.
