“Stripe effect”
Transitional Bathroom Remodel
This bathroom was remodeled for the teenagers in the home. The bathroom was enlarged by borrowing space from the adjoining entertainment room. This allowed for a double floating vanity, a large shower and a water closet with a linen cabinet. The medicine cabinets were cleverly located in the side vanity walls and hidden with a painted blue stripe. The use of stripes can be seen throughout the space in the backsplash tile, the vanity light and the shower tile. Motion detectors control the lighting and the exhaust fan to insure that lights were not left on after use.
