BATHROOM

“Shades of Gray”

ABOUT THIS BATHROOM PROJECT

This bathroom was remodeled to provide enough space for two young girls. The goal was to increase the size of the bathroom to allow for a double vanity, more floorspace, increase the size of the shower and create wall space for hanging towels. We were able to meet this challenge by borrowing the closet space from the adjoining bedroom. A floating vanity was recommended to keep a more open feel in the space and wall mount faucets were recommended  to help keep the countertops clutter free and easier to clean. Recessed medicine cabinets with built-in lighting provide additional storage space and proper lighting at the vanity. The new shower features patterned tile for interest and two shampoo niches for the girls’ showering needs. A wall cabinet was installed above the toilet to provide additional storage. Varying shades of gray were used for the color scheme, but the wood toned cabinetry warms up the space.
