This bathroom was completely remodeled by borrowing space from an adjoining unused small room. The clients desired a modern bathroom that reflected their many international boating trips over the years. Tile and the vessel sinks were selected in shades of aqua. Custom vanities were built and painted a calming shade of blue. Floor tile and countertop material were selected in shades of soothing sand.
The large shower replaced the small tub and the mixing valve was relocated near the shower entry to be accessed without getting wet. A shampoo niche allows for hidden storage and privacy film was installed on the existing windows for added privacy. This project won a Silver Award for Residential Bath $50,000 to $75,000 at NARI's Wisconsin Remodelers Awards in 2019. This project is located in Shorewood.
